Buffalo Sauce to Replace Any Hot Sauce

Everyone has their favourite hot sauce. Some love the rooster, some love the one named after that one guy, and some make their own hot sauce from scratch. It does not matter what hot sauce base you use in this recipe, as long as you love it because the flavor really comes through.

You can add this to anything that you would pair with a standard spicy buffalo sauce. Cauliflower wings, smashed chick peas, tofu, rice, whatever! It’s even better warmed up the next day so you can dip leftovers in it too!

The last time I made this, I used it as a sauce for some mildly spicy air fried tofu and that has been my favourite way to have it so far.

Spicy Buffalo Sauce

This spicy buffalo sauce tastes just like the one you know and love but it's vegan and gluten free.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup vegan butter
  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • ½ tbsp everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter and hot sauce over medium high heat and whisk in all ingredients.

Notes

This sauce is great on it’s own as a hot dip or a saucy coating. It can be kept in the fridge for about 5 days.
